Xiamen attracts golf enthusiasts from ROK

Many golf enthusiasts from Republic of Korea (ROK) had come to China's southeast city of Xiamen because of the warm weather and lower expenditure here, local sources told Xinhua on Sunday.
On the contrary, some golf courses in ROK closed in winter because of the cold weather.
The airlines between Xiamen and Seoul, the capital city of ROK, were full of golf fans and there were more than 300 golf fans from ROK came to Xiamen on Jan. 12, a source from Gaoqi Frontier Station of the Xiamen General Frontier Inspection Station said.
Gaoqi Frontier Station has sent the police who passed KLPT (Korean language standard test) to the frontier post in order to provide better services to the tourists from ROK.
Xiamen Airline added more than 20 lines between Xiamen and ROK from last Dec. 22.
