Zero-Kilometer' Road Symbol for Tian'anmen Square

China will construct a "Zero-Kilometer" symbol in Beijing's Tian'anmen Square, marking it as the axis point for all the country's roads.
The Ministry of Communications says a nationwide search has begun to find a design for the land mark.
The "Zero-Kilometer" symbol is expected to become a tourist attraction in the capital city.
Western countries such as the United States, Russia, Spain, France and Italy all have a "Zero-Kilometer" symbol at the center of their capital cities.
