Sorry, I forget the room number. Generally speaking, this hotel is quiet good comparing with the other hotels in Shanghai, Hangzhou. I will introduce my friends to choose this hotel when they need to stay in Nanking.

Hall way rugs were dirty and need cleaning. I had to change rooms, and the door didnt have a safety lock/latch attached.

It was probably a great Hotel when opening but now needs some improvements mainly in the bathroom. Apart from that there are two room levels and it doesn't appear when you are booking. Best Regards, Emilio Núñez

Mostly the hotel was comfortable, the surroundings were well appointed and attractive. The staff were always courteous and helpful. There are very few non-smoking rooms and that meant we were unable to have a suite, as booked, but had to settle for a room - very nice but not what we had arranged when booking. The rooms are too hot. It was not possible to sleep with the window open as the traffic noise was very intrusive, and we could not adjust the air temperature. On the second night there, we had a room at the back, which was quieter but still too hot, even with the window open. It might help to have only a sheet for cover, but there was only a quilt. The western breakfast was disappointing. Food was plentiful but tepid/cold and very greasy. Although there was a man to cook eggs, there was only omelette on offer. Hope this is helpful.

As we stayed in two different rooms, it is not possible to tick the above boxes because each room was different. The staff were very polite and helpful and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. It was surprising that there were very few non-smoking rooms, which meant we could not have our first choice of a suite. We found the room too hot and if the window was open the traffic noise was too loud - for this reason we changed rooms, on the second night, which helped. It would have helped if there were the option of using a sheet only for sleeping. We thought the western breakfast was poor - there was a good selection of food but the cooked dishes were tepid and greasy and although there was a man to cook, there was no choice with the eggs,only omelette was offered.

Grand lobby,Friendly and helpful staff, good spoken English. Excellent location for sight-seeing and shopping. Internet price does not include breakfast.
