Yu Feng Heng Hotel is located in Pingyao old town's most prosperous section--Chenghuangmiao Street, next to Ming Qing Street, Jinjing tower, Wen Temple, Chenghuangmiao, and old county government. Yu Feng Heng Hotel was built on the former structure of Yu Feng Heng Hotel, which was famous for its scholar atmosphere during Qing dynasty's Guangxu period. In recent years, the hotel has been decorated and equipped with the modern amenities of air conditioner, color TV, bathroom, etc. Mrs. Qian Xiulan, wife of the hotel's boss, Liu Hailong, is Pingyao's celebrated entrepreneur and is honored by Shanxi province's local Women' s Association. Welcome to Yu Feng Heng Hotel! The hotel was last decorated in 2006.

The hotel has 10 folk-style deluxe rooms and 10 folk-style standard rooms. The guest rooms are not only arranged with heatable brick bed, Ming & Qing furniture, and calligraphy articles, but also equipped with air conditioner, cable TV, bathroom, purified drinking water, telephone, and broadband Internet access.

Beautiful locatin in a wunderful town. We stayed in a historical building. The stuff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms have a little bit of old patina. Breakfast was only for asia-people. We would stay again.

We could print the hotel in chinese language. This was very helpfull in the taxi. The breakfast was very good and they arranged our train tickets to Datong and a free ride to the train station.

Most of the staff does not speak english, though this does not affected us much. The room / accommodation was very typical and characteristic for guest houses in Pingayo, which was appreciated by us, as was different from 'hotels' one can experience many around China. Location was also excellent in the direct hearth of the town, though not overcrowded by international tourists, which made it special for us,appreciated because it was most typical Chinese accommodation of all the trip of us, though very very clean and finally convenient accomodation with very good price/ value.
