I checked out on May 25 to spend the weekend in HK, and I returned to the hotel on May 27 and occupied until June 1 as per my reservation.

Overall, the hotel is really okay, good location, clean & not so expensive They make up our room everyday. We didn't use the kitchen that much coz we didn't cook our food coz we always eat outside. Hotel's buffet breakfast is just the basic which will also compensate with the price, it's not too expensive anyway so don't expect too much variety of food, rmb 48 or usd 8. There is no wifi in the room, only in the lobby which is quite inconvenient. The bathroom is a bit smaller with limited courtesy items (no conditioner & lotion but has shampoo, soap and toothbrush) The room's wall has no frames (could have been better even with one). We checked in at 1AM and the hotel staffs at that time are not so friendly, maybe, they were sleepy. Other staffs during the day are helpful and could speak and understand english. There are also restaurants, a supermarket and bakeries and a newly opened spa just outside the hotel. It's easy and convenient. This hotel is a good value for money since the cons (negative) are just tolerable.

My husband & I enjoyed our stay there as it was right in the smack of the city. As muslims, Halal food is in abundance just around the corner as there is also a mosque nearby(sorry, cant remember the name of road tho'), but rest assured its near. So no problem for muslims staying there. Our 1 bedroom appartment was also very comfortable. As for amenities, no problem at all either, as everything is within reach. We will definitely take our kids there on our next visit to Shanghai. Thumbs up!

We had a wonderful stay, the location and leisure facilities were very good indeed. The only thing which let things down were the breakfast; it's a shame there isn't any Chinese food on the buffet? As Shanghai is famous for it's dumplings we expected to see something on the selection. Also this was the only accommodation during our travel to charge for internet access, at 40 rmb per 1/2 hour and 10 rmb per sheet for printing it seemed quite expensive. (incidentally, there is a selection of small cafe's just along the road serving delicious soup dumplings at 3.5 rmb per basket. Regards Sue Snow

rooms with good space, very good wellness facilities, english speaking staff, central location. Lack's free wireless internet.

Security and Bell boys were the most friendly and helpful. Doors always opened, taxis were hailed for us. Breakfast staff could be more friendly and out going. Had to get my own coffee several times, refills not usually offered. Room description stated Deluxe Two Bedroom and Two Living Room, my room did not have 2 living rooms, but it did have a dining room and one living room. Was this a mistake in the room's description or should it of had 2 living rooms? Very nice Hotel, would consider staying there again and recommend to friends.
