Cathay offers Singapore-Beijing option

CATHAY Pacific is offering a special Singapore-Beijing promotional air fare, via Hong Kong, when the airline increases from thrice weekly to daily, flights between its homebase and the Chinese capital on December 1. The S$499 (US$294) air fare is for travel between January 1 and March 31, 2005 and bookings start from December 27 and end on February 28. The air fare allows passengers a stopover in Hong Kong on the return journey. Cathay Singapore country manager, Ms Olivia Wong said the additional flights would make it even easier for passengers from Singapore to reach their interests in China and they would also have access to a great number of regional headquarters and MNCs by transiting in Hong Kong . Cathay, which resumed flights between Hong Kong and Beijing on December 2 last year has been granted the right to operate a second daily service to Beijing from the start of summer next year. It has also been allocated rights to operate thrice weekly flights to Xiamen and is scheduled to launch the service early next year. |
