Direct air flight service between Shanghai, Venice starts Wednesday

SHANGHAI, Jan. 11 (Xinhuanet) -- A regular direct air flight service between Shanghai and Venice, Italy is launched officially Tuesday, said sources from East China Air Traffic Control Bureau. Previously, there were no direct air flights between the two cities. According to the sources, Boeing 767 planes will be used for the route operated by Italy's Blue Panorama Airlines. The plane will take off in Venice at 6:55 a.m. Beijing time on Wednesday and will arrive at Pudong Airport of Shanghai at 6:20 p.m. The plane will leave Pudong Airport two hours later and touch down at Venice at 9:10 a.m. the next day. |
