More Flights Woo Chinese Passengers
|
15-Jun-2004 - |
Domestic and overseas airline companies have opened more international flights departing from Beijing in a bid to woo more passengers. Air China is planning four new international flights, CRI website reported Thursday. Germany's Lufthansa Airlines has launched its brand-new business class service that provides internet "air" surfing in China. Moreover, a series of international flight promotions have been launched to encourage more air travel over the summer. For example, return trip tickets from Beijing to any destination in the UK are priced at only 5,990 yuan or US$723 on selected airlines. Experts analyze that domestic and overseas airline companies are attempting to seize a bigger market share in Beijing due to the profitable business opportunities brought by the upcoming 2008 Olympic Games. |
