|
26-Mar-2004 - |
All state-owned cultural museums will admit groups of young minors free of charge. China is making efforts to increase access to cultural education among its young people. All state-owned cultural museums will admit groups of young minors free of charge, while single visitors of a certain age will pay only half the price of the admittance fee. The Government is urging its cultural museums and galleries to implement the system from May 1st. The Palace Museum in Beijing and Shanghai Museum already offers such discounts for minors and disabled people, and the National Museum of China aims to include commercial exhibitions in the new system. |
