The 3rd Minority Art Festival of China begins

The 3rd Minority Art Festival of China was kicked off at the Great Hall of The People in Beijing on Tuesday night.
Chinese President Hu Jintao, Premier Wen Jiabao and a host of senior officials presented the Opening Ceremony, which consisted of four parts: the rhythm of winter, song of spring, dream of summer and color of autumn.
More than 3000 artists belonging to ethnic minority groups from all over China, including Tibet, Inner Mongolia and Jilin, will celebrate the collaboration of some 56 ethnic groups with song and dance. |
