Tianjin Airlines Introduces Air-Rail Link
|
12-May-2011 - China Hospitality |
Tianjin Airlines has announced that it will introduce an air-rail link product together with Tianjin Binhai International Airport and Beijing-Tianjin Intercity Railway.
Travelers going to Beijing will get free tickets for the shuttle from the airport to Tianjin East Railway Station and for the Beijing-Tianjin Intercity Railway, if they first fly to Tianjin with Tianjin Airlines.
With this new air-rail link, it will take travelers only an hour or so to travel from Tianjin Airport to Beijing South Railway Station — and at a much cheaper price.
It is estimated that this new service will attract an additional 70,000 Beijing-bound travelers a year to Tianjin Airport. Statistics show that Tianjin Airport handled 160,000 Beijing-bound travelers in 2009.
Currently this product is only available through the official website of Tianjin Airlines, ticket offices working directly for Tianjin Airlines or Hainan Airlines, and the call center of Tianjin Airlines. |
