The airport terminal building covers an area of 6000 square meters which could handle 24 million passengers and 250 million in peak-hour. The terminal building was built in the modern style, at the same time, absorbing the rural characteristics of sloping roof.
Nantong Airport was designed according to national class two standard. The headroom of the airfield is good. And the airport is equipped with advanced radio communications and navigation systems, landing approach system, navigation lighting systems and remote automatic weather observation system.
