It is about 7km to the Scenic Area. Wuyishan Airport is formerly named Chong'an airport. It was built in early 1958. In October of 1992 it is expanded. On January 15th of 1994 it is officially in use.
After the expansion, Wuyishan airport is now a 4C-class airport for civil aviation. It is designed to have annual throughput of 420,000 passengers, 2400 meters long airport runway, 18,000 square meters apron for take-offs and landings. The airport ground support equipment and facilities have perfect conditions with all-weather flight.
