Didn't use any 'amusements', hence low score. Toilet in 6625 didn't always stop flushing properly, i.e. water sometimes kept running. Air conditioning in 6619 didn't cool room quite enough. English notice in bath, 'Slip and fall down carefully' caused us great amusement! It should say something like, 'Take care not to slip or fall'.

The Hotel rooms smelt of stale cigaretts. The beds were like sleeping on hard boards. Not a very good experience. We cancelled the following two nights.

We didn't have time to enjoy the breakfast as our plane left early so we had to depart the hotel by 6 am. We enjoyed the position and everything was close handy to the hotel. Loved being beside Banyan Lake. I think you could provide more information in English for overseas guests. When departing at 6 there was no one available for check out and we had no instructions as to who to call. Otherwise our stay was very pleasant. WE find the beds much harder in China than we are used to in the West. However we would always stay again at the Ronghu and be happy to recommend it to others.

The hotel is quite well placed, and is walking distance to the lake and pedestrian street shopping. The rooms can get pretty warm as the airconditions are switched off during the winter season. It is an old hotel so evidence of loose taps knobs in the toilet. Breakfast can be improved eventhough its Chinese breakfast. Staff are friendly and curtious. Free internet in rooms that's a bonus. Overall rating 7.5 out of 10.
