I ve difficult to communicate enything to rec. n home services staff. In Bali, my home, n all 4th level hotel in Jakarta, are always prepare n give the airport transportation to n from the hotel. I couldn't believe it when the taxi pulled up, because I thought I'd read such amazing things on this website about it. They were nice enough at the desk when they gave me the key to my room...they didn't speak much English, which was ok.
The room itself was the biggest let down of all time. It didn't look ANYTHING like the picture on the website. The bed was hard and the bathroom looked filthy. The tub was covered in grime. I thought I'd paid extra for one of their nicer rooms, but nice in the East is not the same as nice in the West.
I'd read about a lot of amenities that went with this hotel, which was the primary reason I'd booked it. There was NO swimming pool and the staff laughed at me when I asked where I was. The gym was closed 24/7 and everything in the gift shops were severely over-priced! The location was terrible. No nice eating places within walking distance, and it was absurdly hard to get a cab.
I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. |
