The a/m hotel is a Western style hotel in China with warm & friendly atmosphere & kind staff at reception, concierge, restaurant, and housekeeping. Most staff don't know & speak English well; In spite of their tendncy to help guests, sometimes they can't help you & we had two cases in this regard : 1) We missed the train for going to Yiwu on 30th Sep. due to a mistake by the reception staff & wrong address to the taxi driver. 2) We had to pay much money to the taxi driver (CNY 250 instead of CNY 205) for going to Rui'an city on 4th Oct. due to a mistake in translation by concierge staff. Our room was a little small & taking bath was not convenient, but our beds were very comfortable & clean; and the laundry service was very fast & clean. Meanwhile, check-in was fast but check-out was very slow with much delay. In restaurant, we just ate buffet breakfast which was very good in a cozy location with friendly staff; However, the one who prepares fried eggs, doesn't use glove for cutting down mushroom & tomato for mixing it with eggs & it is not hygienic. We couldn't find shoe polisher & swimming pool in the hotel, too. However, in general, we are satisfied with Ex Palm D'or Hotel Wenzhou & would like to express our greetings & best wishes to all the staff of the hotel especially to the General Manager, Mr. Al Wang, for his instruction to bring an iron with ironing board to our room, and Guests Service Manager, Mr. Tom Peng for his assistance. Finally, I think that a/m hotel is at top of the best hotels in Wenzhou. Kindly express my sincere thanks to my friends in your organization & hope to come to China for our next trip, very soon. /
