Rooms Furnishings: 1 |  The room was cold and even though we requested heat there was no difference. We brought this to the attention of the staff both days we were there. There were only two teabags, no milk and no sugar. This is standard in hotels. When I rang reception for coffee and some sugar they sent up a staff member with a saucer containing about four sachets of sugar. When I asked where the coffe was he replied, "No money for coffee" At that point I gave up, thanked him and closed the door. The night we ventured down for dinner, my husband's spaghetti bolognaise was so terrible that he returned it. They expected us to pay for it and we refused. In the end they agreed that we shouldn't pay for a meal we didn't have but when we booked out we noticed that they charged it to our bill anyway. We will not set foot in this hotel again and will warn others against staying here. |

Yes I did stay at the Hotel: Riverside Hotel, Guangzhou (Guangxin Gitic Riverside Hotel).
And was very disappointed. Please view the disgusting condition of the room I stayed in. Stains on the carpet and leather worn off the bedhead and a very strong musty bad smell in the room.
I booked this hotel as it is listed as 4 star. (These conditions would only warrant a 2 star)
Please advise what you are going to do about "rectifying this" before I post these pictures on every hotel feedback site I can find on the internet.
