I am glad of my stay in this hotel. This location is near the walking street, near bus station and harbour and price is correct. I advise this hotel. I have also appreciated the reservation process (not need to use credit card) and efficient of Chinahotels process. Best regards.

The hotel is quite old and nothing exciting nearby except to take a cab or walk about 15mins to Gongbei underground shopping. We're located in the wing away from the main building and have to take the lift to level 3, walk to another staircase and go down to level 2, walk to the other wing and take the lift to our floor. Very troublesome especially when you're lugging your baggages. The ceiling leaked in one of the rooms. When we asked for places to shop, the front desk staff told us that Gongbei underground shopping was not interesting and they recommended us another place........we only realised that it was a shopping centre with branded items when we reached there! The staff informed us that the hotel has free transport (big enough to accommodate our big group) to fetch us to lunch and shopping. To our dismay, it was an old mini bus and a 7 seater car. After lunch, they persuaded us to go to a medical hall, saying that since it is free transport service by them, they will get payment for bringing us there. Out of goodwill, we accommodated them. Thereafter, they kept persuading us to go for a free massage whereby they will get paid for it. If this is the type of free service provided by the hotel, then it really puts them off.

Room sofa needs to upgrade - dirty. Location is a big far from custom but overall is a nice hotel. Will certainly stay again if visiting zhuhai. Will recommend to friends too.

Our rooms are near to the stairs and lifts, especially at night you could hear the lifts "ting" sound. People checking in, dragging their luggages up and down the steps as the lift is not to all levels. Our sleep is all interrupted throughout. My bed in Rm 510 "creeps" each time I turn my body,as such, I could sleep throughout my stay. The hotel is grand looking outside, good location, but front counter staff sucks, very loud speaking, scold each other in front of customers, new year day did not greet or wish us. Room maids greet and wish us instead. I would recommend more to come back if all these improve. Cheers! Teng Eng Boon

Hotel location is very good.. within walking distance to Macau border. Suggest that this information in the form of a walking map to be published. The bus stop is just outside the hotel and is very convenient. The staff especially the bell hop is very helpful in giving us information on the bus to take to places like Meixi archways and Fisher's lady statue. We traveled by public bus which is reasonable (RMB 2.50 - aircon). Only problem is the noise from other hotel guests. One night (2 AM ), the children were playing with the door bell - hotel staff should remind parents to tell children not to cause inconvenience to other guests.

the hotel was very nice all the staff were helpful and kindly It was not easy being in china and only speaking english and they were very helpful The hotel was well placed for walking around markets etc but if you want to encourage more western tourists it would be really helpful if the hotel had a list of restaurants ( both cantonese and european ) which had english translated menus - it was very difficult walking around looking to eat in restaurants if you cannot recognise the food or the prices from the cantonese names
