I stayed at Haoting Hotel on the 18/4/12. It was not in Gongbei as I thought but in another town outside. They rooms were just run of the mill standard Chinese.If you are a westerner there is not a lot of English spoken there. The best part of my experience there was falling in love for the first time in years with the Cashier/Receptionist in the pink dress(who if ever gets to read my review knows who she is) who tried to carry my large 20KG case to the taxi and helping me to get back to Zhuhai port by writing it in Chinese script. Thank you for your beautiful memory.Other than that not much else really.. CJ

Even though we booked 2 big bed rooms & 1 twins bed room, but all 3 rooms are seperately in 3 levels - Rm 1608, 1503 & 808 intially. We reacted immediately when arrive that at least 2 big bed rooms at the same level as same style of beds, but the front desk excused that is full, can't change. While we found 1608 ( big bed room ) is too old, bad smell owing to the moudly walls, then requested the room change on 8/F. Front desk then said that has the room once check, we are so disappointed why do the 1st request replied no rooms at the same level ( 8/F ). This showed that the Front Desk has not attempt to cooperate with the client request. Also Rm 1503 room don't has enough lights, it's dark in the room, also the TV can't be seem well. Only 8/F is acceptable, otherwise, we won't stay this hotel again even though the prc is reasonable & the location is convenience.
