Rooms Furnishings: 10 |  I am quite satisfied with the room. The rooms service was also OK. However, I got a room with no windows, so I don't know what's outside of my room like if it is raining, time of the day, etc. But that is also not a main problem. The hotel is located close to West Lake and also shopping area and buying food nearby is also convenient and easy.
My only complain is that the hotel caters mostly to mainland Chinese visitors meaning the breakfast food served while it may be local tastes, it does not take into consideration of foreign travelers. For example, the fried mee was very oily, most foods are also very salty. The hotel staff does not know how to make tea (they think English tea is similar to Chinese tea) and coffee. The tea and coffee is watery that is not think enough. So is the milk. The staff that makes the fried egg only knows one method of making egg. He has to learn to make omelet, fried egg sunny side, half fried eggs which are favored by foreigners. The breakfast menu is that same during my 4 days stay. In most countries, they rotate the menu every day.
Otherwise, everything is OK. I will come back and also recommend my friends to stay in this hotel.
For your information, foreigners are now much environment friendly. For example, despite two of us staying, we share one towel so that the hotel can conserve on water, etc. Perhaps the hotel can put up a notice telling its guests that the hotel practices environment friendly services, to leave towel to be washed on the floor, conserve on water, etc.
