We initially booked a Twin standard room, since as per the photos posted in the China Hotels reservation website were nice & it gave a good profile of the hotel. However, when we saw the twin standard room, we are totally dismayed. The bathroom & toilet are dirty. Therefore we upgraded to a Deluxe twin room, even it is higher by $11.00. The deluxe twin room is clean & more conducive for staying. On the other hand, it is stated in the website that Hangzhou Wan Hotel has a fitness center, yet it does not have any at all. The compensations we got from this hotel are the staffs. They are very friendly & very prompt in acting to our needs. They have staffs who can speak English & they are really very helpful. The buffet breakfast is Chinese cuisine & it is not bad. The location is perfect, since it is near a big Vanguard supermarket. It is very accessible to take a bus to Wulin square & West lake. The hotel is recommended.

This hotel is very nice for a 3 star hotel. I even thought it was a 4 star hotel because the deluxe room was very impressive. I made last minute booking through your website and I did not have any problems. My operator Brandon was very nice and accommodating. He went out of his way to find a hotel within my budget at the last minute when almost all the hotels are fully booked! Breakfast was good, better than most of the hotels I've been to in China. They had Western food and even had a noodles cooking station. I would recommend this to anyone traveling to Hangzhou. The only setback was that you have to take a cab and pay around rmb20-25 to go to the West Lake.

there was no english speaking person in the hotel, so kindly train your employees in english to serve better non chinese persons
