Located at the north-west of the Forbidden City and the west of Jingshan Park. It was initially built in the Liao Dynasty, and gradually developed into an imperial garden in the Liao, Jin, Ming and Oing Dynasties. The occupying area is 700,000
square meters, half of which is water surface.
The park is centered at Jade Island where the buildings are exquisitely constructed and the towering trees are grown. The White Pagoda is erecting at the top of the island and the most outstanding building at the park.
The Pagoda as a lama pagoda is at the height of 35.9 meters. in the shape of a treasured bottle on a square engraved and decorated base. A bronze umbrella cover with bronze bells hung below is installed on the pagoda top that is gold plated fire pearl monastery peak ticket: 5 Yuan and General Ticket: 10 Yuan.
