It is the largest temple construction available in China Dresentlv. and served as the place for the emperors to pray the Heaven for a harvest in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The major two groups of the buildings are connected by a terrace called
Apron(or divine pavement) of 360 m long and 2.5 m high.
one is the hall of prayer for a Good Harvest at the north and the other is the Imperial Vault of Heaven and Circular Mound Altar.
The three constructions are aligned straightly in the south-north axis to form a complete and beautiful layout of buildings. Ticket: 10/15 Yuan and General Ticket: 30/35 Yuan
