Ruins park of Yuandadu City Wall£šin the Chaoyang section) is located in the eastern and western sides of Beijing's central axis and in the southern side of Olympic Green. It is the largest belt park in the Beijing urban area, covering a total area of 67 hectare with a whole length of 4.8 kilometers and width of 130 meters to 160 meters.
As it is linked with flue
Haidian section, it is 9 kilometers long after completion of the construction. The greening coverage of the Ruins Park of Yuandadu City Wall will reach 73%. The Xiaoyue River runs across it and divides the ruins park into the south/north parts.
The southern side of this river is the protective zone of Tucheng Ruins while the northern side is a scenic spot construction zone for greening. The general design will follow the principle of repairing the ruins as the original scene, fully respecting the history and protecting the ruins.
