Hangzhou, one of the seven famous ancient Chinese capitals, is a major tourist destination and historic culture city named by the State Council. With a history of more than 2, 200 years, Hangzhou once served as the capitals of Wu Yue Kingdom and Southern Song Dynasty. Linked to many areas by airplanes, railways, highways and waterways, Hangzhou is a developed center of communications and telecommunications on the southeast coast of China. Trains from Hangzhou can take you to such destination as Shanghai, Suzhou, Nanjing, Jinan, Nanchang, Shaoxing, Ningbo, Chongqing, Guiyang, Kunming, Guilin, Nanning, Fuzhou, Xiamen and Guangzhou. The express tour train from Hangzhou to Shanghai only takes two and half hours.
