Hangzhou is a hub of
communications on the southeast

transportation like railway, roads,
water and air transport. it has main
and branch railway lines.
The fastest
train between Shanghai and
Hangzhou only takes one and a half
hours. it has two river systems,
namely, the Grand canal and The
Qiantang River, Which were
connected in 1986 and this links up
the Qiangtang River, River Yong,

grand canal and formed a new
water net whose center is
Hangzhou.

Hangzhou, among which the flights
to Hong Konq, Pekinq, Canton,
Shenzhen, Wuhang Xiame, Fuzhou, Shanghai, Wenzhou, Huangyan
take off everyday. There are 1-4 flights to Singapore, Haikou,
Shantou, Guilin, Kunming, Shenyang, Dalian, Quzhou, Shijianzhuang, Mt.
Hangshan. Changsha, Taiyuan Chengdu, Chongqing Man, Lanzhou,
Tsingtao, Hefei, Nanking, Harbin, etc. Now, a new international arport is
under construction in Xiaoshan, Hangzhou.
